Noah got away from the World for 40 Days (Genesis 7)
Because the world was ending.
The world was full of violence (Genesis 6:11)

Jesus went into the Wilderness for 40 days
Fasting, praying, compelled? Propelled?
Led by the Spirit. To deny the tempter.

Old lies.
By the time the devil offered the world
Jesus was pretty good at self-denial

40 days should do it
Even if you need ministering to by the Angels
But I have it on good authority
We have not resisted sin to the point
Of shedding blood (Hebrews 12:4)

What if we tried 40 days outside the camp, in the wilderness, denying ourselves like He did.
He’s invited us.
Hebrews 13:12-14 NASB
Therefore Jesus also, that He might sanctify the people through His own blood, suffered outside the gate. So, let us go out to Him outside the camp, bearing His reproach. For here we do not have a lasting city, but we are seeking the city which is to come.
